As well as being assessed using the Ministry requirements, for each of the eight International Baccalaureate MYP subjects there are a set of criteria against which the students will be assessed against. During the year, students will do pieces of work that will be IB assessed against the criteria shown in the table below.
During the year the students will take home two IB report cards. At the end of the second term they will receive a progress report that will indicate how they are doing so far in terms of IB assessment. In June, the students will receive a final report card as well as a Certificate of Achievement, which will give them their final IB grade for each of the subjects taken.
Those students who are in MYP 5 (Sec 5) of the Enriched program will have completed the Moderation process in that year. This means that their work is sent away to be assessed and a final grade is given by IB. If they meet the requirements of the certificate they will receive their certificate at graduation in October.
