Scholarships (Academic Merit)

l. UNIVERSITIES/COLLEGES

Most scholarships are awarded to the student by the individual institutions. The awards are almost always for academic merit and not financial need. Some institutions automatically screen all eligible students, but it is always wise to read the college/university calendar or check with the institution's AWARDS OFFICE. High marks are generally the major criteria.
