Academic Counseling/ Guidance

At Lakeside Academy, Ms. Lisa Davis-Mancini serves as the Academic and Vocational Counselor. She provides guidance in both academic and career planning, while also supporting students throughout their social and emotional development during high school.

When should you meet with Ms. Mancini?

• When you want to discuss your options before you graduate from High School. 
• When you need help organizing your workload.
• When you need assistance in choosing your options.
• When you want information about various programs offered in CEGEP or through Vocational Education
• When you have trouble making friends or have problems with your girlfriend or boyfriend.
• When you are experiencing family issues, either due to conflict, illness, death, divorce or a step parent(s).
• When you feel that you lack confidence in yourself. When you are questioning your sexual orientation. 
• When you think you might be pregnant.
• When you feel stressed out, anxious, depressed, sad or angry. 

To schedule an appointment for academic counseling with Ms. Mancini, you can come to the Academic/Guidance Office, located next to the VP's office between: 8:30 am and 3:45 pm.  Parents /Guardians can reach Ms. Mancini by email at: ldavis@lbpearson.ca.
